Afrojack: Pissed off over Paris Hilton’s DJing debut

Afrojack did a radio interview recently and said he was pissed off that no told him that Paris Hilton was planning to launch her DJing debut. He doesn’t seem to be a big fan of Paris the DJ. He also claims that her set was pre-recorded.

I can understand why he’d be upset, but at the same time I don’t really believe that her DJ gig was some huge shocking surprise out of nowhere to him. At least he does defend her right to do whatever makes her happy and says that this whole thing isn’t a big deal and people need to get over it. There’s no difference between a DJ playing a pre-recorded set and a pop star lik Britney lip syncing at a concert. I don’t think anyone is shocked to hear (or really cares) that Paris’s set wasn’t ~live~. She still sang live, played fun music, put together great visuals, and overall put on an enjoyable and memorable show which is all that really matters. I just really hope she won’t get mad at him for this and put off the single/album, which is of course my perpetual paranoid fear.

I get where Afrojack’s coming from. More than anything he sounds upset because Paris didn’t tell him. Which I think anyone would be.

Paris does not like a man telling her how to run her business(es).
She usually drops guys when they try to take over in any way, shape, or form.

That effectively ends their budding friendship,or whatever it could have been.

Handsome guys are a dime a dozen, she can find someone else to go to Disneyland with.

He has no reason to be pissed,Paris does not need his permission how to live her life.
Guys just take too much for granted and always want to be the leader.

His entourage also seemed to be pissed that she went to Cannes, judging from some of their tweets back then.
WTF?
This whole thing was already getting too restrictive, before it had a chance to develop.

I don’t give a fuck if he’s mad, if he’s talking shit, if the set was pre-recorded. WHATEVER. I’m just supporting retrograde, I’m afraid she won’t release the single or album now. Gosh, I think if she doesn’t release that single this year, I will be very mad at her, and probably will start disliking her. I’m so mad cause I’ve been waiting for this song for years, and she’s not taking her music career serious, and it annoys me.

Well the latest rumor is that the single will be out this week, so I guess we’ll see if that pans out. I just wish we knew what was going on. Based on what she’s tweeted over the past year, she is clearly passionate about her music and has been working really hard in the studio and this album. And yet we still don’t have release dates, a tracklisting, anything. We don’t even know what label she’s with (if any). All we’ve gotten so far is that snippet of Last Night, that unfinished demo of Good Time, and her repeated vague promises of “it will be out this summer.” The constant delays and lack of solid info is getting tiresome. I really hope her single comes out this week. Otherwise…..

Everything is very vague because she clearly has no label, otherwise the label would have the release date set already. As for Afrojack, if I were him I would be pissed off too. I mean, she hung out with him so much, absorbed his DJ knowhow and now she’s a dj? I’ve always liked Paris but she’s very self-centred. I guess it’s hard to not be when it’s about me me me.

She’s been recording off & on a lot since 2007. She has changed directions, influence & producers several times. As I’ve said before, she easily could’ve just released 2-3 albums by now. I get that she’s a perfectionist but this has gotten a tad ridiculous, IMO.

Yeah, i know you are excited…i am too. But, you have to take into account that what she has only done to promote the single and album is talking about them in red carpet events! she, according to RadarOnline, turned a part down in Beverly Hills housewives because she will be out of the country promoting it! Just wait. Her fans (us) are excited to buy it! but there are way more people out there to convice to do so too. The publicity of the Dj debut is gonna help a lot this album, because to be honest with you guys i havent seen that much attention towards her since years ago, so it could be a lot easier to make people know about the album. By the way, guys, your friends and loved ones are excited to buy the album? we ca help doing some promotion in our cities….
