Most of us fans “get” Paris Hilton’s offbeat sense of humor and her wry way of looking at things.
That’s what we love about her.
Certain people simply chose to misunderstand and to misinterpret Paris because it suits their agenda.
Paris is not doing anything wrong on her new show but you can’t expect her to be boring either. Her life does involve drama and fun.
Anderson Cooper is a strange person to point fingers.
Why doesn’t he tell people that he is the son of Gloria Vanderbilt and also gay?
Not that there is anything wrong with it LOL.
It just seems a bit odd to see Paris criticized by someone who takes it up his backside LOL.

i was a bit frustrated with the first episode. it seemed to being copying from simple life, only doesn’t work any more for obvious reasons.
i hope it gets better. ultimatley if paris wants the general public to take her more seriously, she may need to quit doing these shows or make the joke more obivousand that she doesn’t take herself so seriously.
she really can’t have it both ways any more by saying teh show is ‘real” and tehn behaving like she has in the past. I didn’t like the way barbara walters attacked her on the view – i thought it was incredibly rude – but babs did rasie some ponits that a lot of people are thinking about apris like what happened to the promises you made about workign with female prisoners and otehr things and what’s new?
again, not a fan of teh view treating paris like that. i think it’s safe to say they rarely treat a guest like that when someone comes on teh show to promotea new project adn they are attacke din a way to torpedo teh show by calling out the credibility of the start promoting it.

I think the first episode was a transition piece, introducing friends and family.
You cannot have a longterm show which only shows Paris being super serious and doing charity work all day, as The View suggested.
The View itself does not run like that. Barbara Walters was being a hypocrite as usual.
