They played the beginning of Heartbeat in this episode!

Glad Paris chose Baje over the Texan girl!

BTW, I have to say it again the show is really well done!

After being so vocal with my reservations, I have to say that I enjoyed the second episode much more. There was still a little meanness or superficiality (I think it’s unfair to expect people to adapt to a new lifestyle right away) but there was so much more of the real Paris – the sweet and caring Paris that would hug someone upset or give someone a birthday cake. That’s so much more like the real Paris that I hope we see more of on the show.

It’s nice to see some of the others bonding with each other instead of competing and backstabbing. I didn’t like Shelley because she was so prudish and religious, but I felt sorry for her with her speech. I had a hard time from other people at school too, so I can sympathise and know the kind of mental demons that can haunt you from that kind of experience. It was touching to see Paris affected by it too. The polo thing was silly fun that reminded me of silly gameshows and was a break from some of the more stressful stuff that the contestants are put through. I hope the show continues to show more of the good natured Paris, rather than the act she sometimes puts on in the show.

glad baje went, but i hope shelly goes soon, she’s too childish for me. seriouslY? do we really need one more prudish goody-goody on TV? what exactly did she think she was getting into anyway? talk about an agenda! her speech was over the top theatrics.
