Ohla would have got my vote off too! I think you’d have to know someone very well and know you had an understanding/same sense of humour before making that makeup comment as a “joke”.
Poor Paris handled the embarrassing juvenile gift well. I liked her comment about how embarrased she would have been if her mother had been there.
Paris says she’s not really into black (and said that no one with a good body wears black in her book) but she’s obviously pretty comfortable with the colour and has worn it to good effect many times.

I actually thought it was quite funny.

i don’t get sending lydia home for being a wall flower when she kept shelly around so long in the first season. shelly was a huge wall flower and had no personality. at least lydia had a personality and was more genuine. i think she was the safe move for everyone to pick precisely because she’s non-confrontational.
i thought the magnetic toy was silly. while i didn’t think it was paris’ style, i didn’t think it was so offensive.

Lydia didn’t deserve to be booted off ahead of Ohla, but I can see why everyone thought she didn’t want to be there enough. Say what you want about Shelley’s crying and all, but she showed that she wanted to be there and not be kicked off.
Saying nothing works when you’re Clint Eastwood or Charles Bronson and you’re packin’ a rod that says more than words ever could. It’s not so helpful at BFF elimination time, when Paris doesn’t feel she knows you well enough.

Can you tell me if this show is going to be successful or not or maybe average? How many viewers does it have? How does it compare to the other reality shows in Britain?

I’m addressing this question to the British Paris fans. Do you think this show will be successful? is it being viewed by teenagers and young adults its target audience? What are its chances of being renewed?

I hope it’s going well. It’s definitely better than the american season, american-british rivalry aside.

Its viewership went down from the first episode to the second to barely above 400,000. I don’t know how the third one did. The first two episodes are about the bottom of the ITV2 range I think. Katie and Peter got about 3 times as many people for their show on ITV2 and the show that Paris’s replaced got about 600,000 people. It needs to pick up more audience.

Thanks for replying. I hope her show gets better numbers. Have you seen it? Is it good? Do you think it will be renewed?

That is correct. I will post the ratings tomorrow (got to study now).
Actually, it’s not doing too bad, according to people who follow TV ratings in the UK. It’s doing between good and OK. As long as it doesn’t go below 400 000 viewers, the ratings are acceptable.
We discussed about the premiere’s ratings here:
