I can’t believe it’s been five years. Insane. I still remember going to the store and buying this the first day. They hadn’t even put them out in the store, so they had to go open the box to get me one. This album was the reason I became a fan. Paris should be so proud of it. She worked with some great people too – Fernando Gairbay produced most of Gaga’s latest album, JR Rotem produced a couple of songs for Britney’s best album (Blackout), Dr Luke is pretty much the reason why Katy Perry and Ke$ha have their careers. The upbeat and positive nature of this album helped me through a awful patch, I know that’s kind of lame to admit but even now, the songs still put a smile on my face. I’m just thankful Paris released this album and that she didn’t go half-assed like she easily could’ve, she put so much work and heart into this album and it shows. The quality is still top shelf five years later.

This is still an album I love to listen to. The magic is still very much there and there is something very special about the production and warm sound. It is very easy for the songs to still get stuck in my head. Quite probably my favourite album of 2000s pop music.

Totally agree. This album is incredibly well done and was well designed to appeal different genres of audience. Paris can say whatever she wants, but this is the best project she has worked on. Simple Life and Repo! were great, too!

I hate waiting for another album, it’s been so long! I mean, sure we’ve gotten some new music since then, but her sophomore album is long overdue. I really hope she actually does sit down and focus all her attention on it right now so that it can get released and make the fans happy, then she can work on her other products and whatnot. I also hope Drunk Text gets released soon!
