Filmmaker Sofia Coppola impressed by Paris Hilton’s house

Sofia Coppola was obsessed with Paris Hilton’s monogrammed accoutrements at the hotel heiress’ Electric Christmas party at her Los Angeles home. Sources say the director “whipped out her iPhone” at the Fox Animation bash and “took photos of herself sitting on the couch with pillows with Paris’ face on them.” Coppola continued going through the house, taking photos of Hilton’s walls, perfumes and other objects, and was amazed to discover the Paris-theme nightclub on the top floor. Also, there were Nicky Hilton, “Glee” actor Darren Criss, Holly Madison and Taryn Manning. Hilton’s new boyfriend, Afrojack, whom she’s casually dating, DJed the event.

Sofia Coppola is apparently working on a film about that group of kids who broke into all the houses of famous people, including Paris’. I imagine she was taking photos for research. Paris does have a fantasy home that I imagine would be quite surreal to go into… It’s the self indulgent Hollywood cliche but in the best possible way. If she is doing the film, it’ll be interesting to see the character based on Paris. Will she go for the obvious? I like Sofia Coppola (Virgin Suicides is my favorite movie of hers) so it’d be cool if Paris even had a cameo in it as a version of herself.

I’ve always adored Paris’ home and how she has pictures of herself all over the place. Some would take that as being conceited but i don’t see it like that at all, if i had be photographed by some of the most successful photographers in the world and been on nearly every magazine cover in the world i’d want them on my walls also!
