Hamptons Vigil Honors Paris Hilton

Paris Hilton’s absence from this summer’s NY social scene leaves a giant size 11 pair of heels to be filled in society circles.

TMZ has learned that summer residents of the Hamptons are so distraught about Paris’ upcoming stint in county jail … that it’s inspired one mournful merchant to start a candlelight vigil until Paris leaves the pokey and returns to the posh weekend spot.

Owners of the upscale shoe boutique, Hamptons Shoe Vixen, tell TMZ that they’re burning candles during Paris’ prison term, until the convicted celebuboob is set free. “Paris is a shoe diva and we don’t always have her size 11 in stock, but we love her and want her back in the Hamptons,” wept owner Todd Shapiro.
