Inmates Have Learned About Paris Hilton’s Arrival To Jail

Inmates at the Los Angeles County jail didn’t realize Paris Hilton had checked in until they saw the TV reports this morning.The socialite will not have to mix with the general population. She’s being housed in the “special needs” unit. Hilton’s cell has two bunks, a table, a sink, a toilet and a small window. She does not have a cellmate.

One inmate describes the jail as “so filthy it’s worse than skid row.”

A sheriff’s spokesman says Hilton was helpful and cooperative. She arrived at the jail last night, after working the red carpet at the MTV Movie Awards.

Hilton is serving time for violating her probation on an alcohol-related reckless driving case. The heiress is due out June 26th.
