Lionsgate plans to expand Repo! to more theaters

Breaking News!

Due to success of Repo! on the Box Office, Repo! will be played in more theaters. Hollywood Reporter reports:

“In a limited bow, Lionsgate’s rock opera “Repo: The Genetic Opera” registered a decently strong $26,000 from eight theaters in six markets. The distributor plans to expand the Sarah Brightman-Paris Hilton starrer slowly, disregarding early poor reviews as Lionsgate seeks to build a cult following for the futuristic scfi-themed musical.”

This is good news 😀 I’m glad that Repo is proving a success so far with audiences at least. I’m appalled that Paris is still getting more crap from critics despite being only part of the movie, but unlike with The Hottie And The Nottie, it looks like audiences might be capable of making up their own minds. Paris has so much to give the world and I’d hate to see her not get the chance because of constant hate and dismissal.

Those negative reviews were complete BS. Many reviews were focusing on Paris when she plays such a small role in the movie.
