Positive Review For Repo! And Paris Hilton

“I can’t believe I am saying this, but Hilton delivers a nuanced performance, slowly peeling away Amber’s layers (literally and figuratively) to ultimately reveal a humanity that made me feel strangely empathetic. I have no doubt that this is a breakthrough performance for Hilton.”

About Repo!, he says: “It has all the makings of a cult-classic. Repo! The Genetic Opera is a new breed of rock opera, perhaps a genre all its own. At a time when films seem to be growing less original by the day, Repo! The Genetic Opera is a welcome silver lining.”

Then again, a second viewer disagrees and writes: “Paris Hilton? Seriously? The reviewer said she was “quite good”. Total bullshit. She sucks. You can’t really tell though, because everyone is so uniformly shitty that she blends in perfectly.”

“The only positive thing I can say about the movie is that it did look good. Not great, just good. I’m grasping though, because it didn’t look that good…,” says of the movie, Studio Plant.

I’m really glad that people are giving Paris such good reviews. I think she’s going to be really good in this movie, I have a very good feeling.

I really hope this changes peoples views on Paris’ as an actress and as a singer.

i think Repo will be good her for. In fact , it has the potential to be very, very good for her. The only thing that can spoil it is the reality show. Look at it this way, Repo is a golden opportunity as a break out role for her, a chance to be taken seriously on an whole new level and garner respectability in Hollywood.

Now imagine that a critically acclaimed Repo success is followed shortly thereafter by this MTV/VH1 low-life reality show……hmmmmmmmmmmm. That will wipe out all the good press and feeling she will have gained from Repo. Repo will be seen as a one-off fluke adn then back to paris business as usual with the icky reality show.

I continue to hope this reality show will never actually happen.

paris should learn from Nicole and Nicky; to wit – don’t take everything that comes your way! be more discerning and only choose quality projects that will lift your stock.
