My Analysis Of Paris Hilton’s Interview

This was a very interesting interview. It is in my opinion the best Paris Hilton interview. However, as many pointed out, Larry and Paris talked too much about the sentence, instead of who she is and what she has accomplished. I predicted that this would happen because I know Larry doesn’t know a lot about her. But thank goodness that Paris mentioned to the public that she is a singer, actress, model and businesswoman. And really, in the end, that’s all that matters, at least for me. Clearly, some haters simply refuse to accept that. I watched the Anderson Cooper special right after the interview, he and some other “expert” obviously refused to accept Paris as a talented person. Quite frankly, I don’t understand why CNN choose Cooper to do this special. He doesn’t know much about Paris, besides that she is a partygirl and used the N word. That’s what he said more than once “She used the N word.” In fact, she used it back during her “crazy” teenage era, which was more than 5 years ago.  And has promised not to use it anymore. Also, she didn’t actually use the word to insult someone at least from the video we saw, but that’s another story. Now, don’t get me wrong, I don’t think using the N word is right, but is that really all you can think of? Why don’t you mention the positive aspects, which outweighs the negative ones? His special was all about money, partying, drugs and all that crap. The CNN crew tried so hard to portray her as a bad person after the interview. It just didn’t make sense. CNN is a hateful network, but still, they did a good job on the interview. At least, Cooper’s guests were much much more informative and smart (not that Cooper isn’t, but only when it cames to Paris. Maybe he’s just a hater).

Anyway, who cares about Cooper? Back to the interview! I think the message of the interview is “the public has a big misinterpretation of Paris Hilton.” And it is true! Very true! That’s what we’ve been talking about the whole time. There’s this big misunderstanding between Paris and the public/media.

I’m sure that many fans were very disappointed about the fact that almost the whole time they were talking about the sentence and everything, instead of about her career. I know some of you wanted to know more about her music. She did mention that she’s filming movies this summer. And, about music, she just said “doing album.” That’s still something. It means that she still considers music in her career. She’s aware of it, which is very news.

Again, what I want to see happening from this interview is a specific change. Forget about the partying and jail.  Learn about the real (and changed) Paris. Encourage her to change! Know what she wants to change. People need to accept the fact that she wants to be a successful entertainer and understand that she is already a successful person. This website’s message is clear: “Paris is a singer, actress, model, partygirl (in a different sense) and a businesswoman. Personally, I want people to understand this. What about you? What do you like about Paris?

About the drugs. I don’t remember if she said she has never taken any drug (I will check), but even if she said that and it’s a lie, (in fact, I believe it is) it really doesn’t matter. Actually, admitting that she took drug would be a mistake, simply because she can’t as a role model come in front of the public and say that. It’s in her past, and it’s bad for her image. People will make a big deal out of when in fact, it really isn’t. She is simply not addicted to it.

Other than that, I think this was a very good interview. I wish they could’ve taken more questions from fans. Unfortunately! They picked a fan who, in my opinion, asked a very good question, but it just wasn’t related to her career. They should’ve picked another person, too.

Now did the American people finally realize the real Paris as we do? We will only learn more about this in a few months, after she fulfills her promises. Let’s give her some time also! But did the haters change their mind about her?

I’ll tell you a secret. Maybe it’s not a secret, but anyway. Certainly, the soft and intelligent haters in the public and in the media understood better the real Paris. To them, she just needs to proof to them certain things. They need to see more of the real Paris to finally understand and accept her. However, the real hardcore haters will probably need a lot more time to understand her. And they still aren’t serious people. They just don’t want the best for her. One hater in fact wrote in his blog that the interview was “boring.” What did you expect? Some sort of drama. They want her to say crazy things and make a fool out of herself. The hate will continue, but everyone will subconsciously remember this interview for months and expect to see some real action.

I might have more analysis about this interview tomorrow. For now that’s all that came to my mind as a fan.

Interesting read…I hope somebody captured the interview and uploaded it somewhere. Will definitely watch it.
And to answer one of your questions, whether or not it was rhetorical, I like Paris because of her music & she is a good person, and I like The Simple Life. I’ve never smelled her perfume, or seen her movies, or played her video game, or anything else, but those are the 3 reasons I’ve fallen in love with her, per say.

I don’t wait for the haters to come around liking Paris any more…if they do, great, but it seems like a lost cause, sort of.
Anyway, if there is another analytical post tomorrow, I’m definitely looking forward to it! =)

I do! If Paris Hilton had any brains or class, she would’ve gone out and done something substantial with her life like Anderson Cooper did. He also came from a wealthy background and could’ve easily done nothing, but he got an education and took the initiative to get into the news. He was determined, smart and resourceful. Paris Hilton is famous for NOTHING and it’s sad that so many people worship this worthless young woman. Wake up people! Worship someone who is truly worthy of this attention. Paris is NOT!

I liked the interview and her answers. Larry focused too much on the jail time. He is not the best interviewer and everyone says so.

I can’t believe that Anderson Cooper of all people judges Paris on her family. His mother was Gloria Vanderbilt, an heiress noted for her acting and designing. Hmmmm

We just told you that we like her music, TV Show, etc. Like other haters, you can’t seem to understand that.
