Favorite Movie This Year??

So the year is coming to an end. What is the movie that sticks out most in your mind.

I can't remember what came out this year, as I tend to see most movies on DVD rather than the cinema. However, my favourite of the ones I do remember was probably The Dark Knight.

That movie was awesome!!! which dvd's did you like that you rented lately? I feel like watching something tonight and I don't know what to get, I always spend hours at blockbuster and I can't decide. lol

Sex And The City was okay if you liked the series. Rambo was okay if you like gory action movies (although I found it a bit too short). Wanted with Angelina Jolie was okay with some good action scenes but I wasn't so keen on how the movie progressed towards the end. The Incredible Hulk was fun. The Hottie And The Nottie was a pretty good romantic comedy of course (some bits reminded me of the old 80s movie Some Kind Of Wonderful).

Repo!, House Bunny and Iron Man were my favorites! I'd have to choose Repo if I went with just one since it was so much fun and so different from anything I've seen in a long time.

It'll probably be a while before Repo is widely seen around the world alas (even some people in America can't see it). Glad to hear it's doing well with it's limited run so far though.

In the meantime, apart from The Dark Knight, I'll also add Quantum Of Solace to my favourite movies of the year. I didn't expect it to top Casino Royale (the Citizen Kane of action movies in my opinion) but it still managed to be a pretty solid and gritty thriller in the Bourne mould.

I have to say Sweeney Todd and Sex And The City. I really haven't seen so many movies this year, but if I'm gonna choose between everyone I've seen, then they are my favorites.

Gotta say it was Repo! I think it's one of my top favourite movies. I'm especially hooked to the music!
