Every board should have one general chat topic! So, here you can write about your day and discuss casually about anything.
I just found out about my roots today and it's just unbelievable... My grandfather was a CEO of one of the greatest hotel chains in Finland. It's so
laughable! I've been trying to be such a copy of Paris, and now I find out that I am. Though I've never received any millions as my heritage. I saw
old photos of him going around the world, and there was shoots of Hilton hotels where he had been (I didn't know they're so old!) and the famous
people he had met, i.e. queens and princesses and stuff. Confusing.
But, anyway. What's up with you, guys?

That's great about the real Heiress connection
Today was my birthday and a lot of my internet friends made me Paris related things because they know of my obsession. One friend made two exclusive
icons/user pictures of Paris with my name on them, two others each posted a Paris picture with Happy Birthday written across it and some of the other
posters wished me a Paris filled day or a Paris-tastic day, lol! It's not all about me though, as yesterday I posted a birthday card to Paris of my
own design, just to have a good chance of it getting to her in time.

Sounds really kewl, Django! Happy Birthday!
Very interesting, Heiress!
There was a time when I used to be fascinated by the Hilton hotels lol and the whole hotel empire that Conrad Hilton built.
It's interesting that you had a grandfather who was the CEO of hotel chains, and you could've potentially received millions of dollars!

I deeply care about Paris, and at times I feel my own caring and dreams bring me down. I hope that oneday I could be more than just a meager fan or something.

Oh dear, I was involved in a bit of drama over Paris on an LiveJournal friend's journal yesterday and today. I merely commented to the other
person's comment to clear up their misconceptions (she didn't see how anyone could possibly like Paris and claimed that Paris doesn't actually do
anything). I was relatively civil and said "Sorry to interrupt since you don't actually know me, but Paris models, acts, has written a book, has
released a music album with another one on the way, has her own business company and her own various fragrance and fashion lines. I fail to see that
as not actually doing anything and if you think her involvement in her own projects is zero then you are obviously misinformed and deliberately don't
want to find out otherwise."
The angry infantile response that awaited me this morning was "are you fucking serious? she didn't write that book, she has a ghost writer, she
barely acts and she only models because she's famous. that lazy eye would have kept out of pro modeling otherwise.
so please, go f*ck yourself. i wasn't even talking to your stupid ass."
Hmmm, seem to have touched a nerve. I didn't swear or resort to name calling (and this person had the cheek to accuse others of being immature).
Anyway, it turns out that the hater has defriended my friend (a Paris fan) accusing both of us of seeing Paris as the second coming (just because
neither of us understand why people attack Paris no matter what she does). I'm sorry my friend lost a friend of course, but I can't help feeling
that it's good riddance if someone will fall out that easily and is so easily insulted while her response was far more aggressive. I can't pretend
to understand wanting someone that nasty on their friends list in the first place though.

Welcome to the board, Emelie
There aren't that many active members and it hasn't been so active of late. But it's probably more active than some and is at least moderated to
keep out spam and haters.

Things have been hopping a lot in the past - check the old topics. It's just that Paris has not been making many public appearances lately. She has also been being a very good girl, so there's not much scandalous happenings to talk about.
Things got hot for a while this spring when she started dating Bengi Madden, but the debate over her w/him has died down somewhat. Not that all parties have come to grips with it yet.
Paris has been busy working on BFF. When that comes out in the fall this place will take off. And some of us will be psyched to see her in Repo: The Genetic Opera, whenever that gets released. So don't go too far way.
Besides, there's no stopping you from starting a topic. People will join in.
Maybe...
I will.
Your banner's beautiful, BTW. Loves it.

So, since my 16th birthday just ended about an hour and a half ago, I thought I would come back here and see what was going on. I'm just chilling in bed now, listening to some Duffy on my new iPod.
