I've seen all the pictures and they're beyond gorgeous!

The article's in German though (as you'd expect from a German magazine, lol) so I hope the same photoshoot/cover and article runs in the UK version soon (I've never bought it and don't buy magazines in general but this might be worth an exception).

I saw them, too, but because of that nipple slip, ParisHiltonSite.net won't support it. I'm sure that the magazine could've rejected that image, but maybe they thought it would gather some attention for them. It's just wrong to do that, and I hope Paris wasn't involved in this.

She looks incredible there! I don't know about the nipple - it's not exactly really obvious. I would have thought that celebrities would get a reasonable amount of control in the situations, so I hope she hasn't been stitched up by the magazine.

I speak German, so if anyone can scan and post the article, I can have a go at translating it. I hope it does get printed in the UK version though, as I have no idea where to get German GQ.

The thing is that most of us can't read Dutch. If someone knows Dutch and can tell us if it reveals something significant, it would be great!

Well here goes... Unfortunately, what we have here is the introduction of the article and the first line of the actual interview. Annoyingly, all the rest of the interview is missing, so we don't get any comments from Paris herself (well, maybe one).

At the start it talks about how she earns millions through her own businesses, and asks how she does it. The first proper bit (after the large print intro) starts with "Paris Hilton has the easiest job in the world", so I'm thinking it's going to be negative. It then describes her getting out of her Saab limo at her Malibu beach house, and all the paps shouting at her and taking photos. So (they imply): easy publicity with no effort.

But then it turns out they're not being so negative after all. The next paragraph starts off : "Whoever says Paris Hilton earns millions of dollars for doing nothing has understood nothing". It talks about how she is an outlet for products to reach the public, like TV, radio, etc. She is then described strangely as "a person put together out of advertising blocks" (Now that is disrespectful! What about her character and personality!)

Then the journalist seems to like her again. She is "a self-aware businesswoman who seems not to care what the world thinks of her, as she has already conquered it long ago". Then we get 1 question (on how many firms she owns) and then we lose the interview just as it's starting.

There's one quote from Paris used as a caption to the photos which is quite interesting: "We have to save energy. That's why I'm working with car companies to bring out a hybrid car with a cool design". Is this new info?

The captions on the photos give the following info:
- She is worth 300m euro, half of which is self-earned.
- She likes teddies, chihuahuas and the colour pink.
- The sex video and jail time are pointlessly and needlessly mentioned.

There's a sidebar on the "PH Empire". Some biographical information, including that she was named Paris after being conceived in the Hilton hotel in Paris. IS THIS TRUE? I never heard it before. Then there are some stats:
- She was 56 in Forbes magazine's Celebrity Power List 2006, higher than Leo DiCaprio.
- In 2006 she earned around $7m through public appearances, products and TV shows. In 2007 it's expected to be $20m (Wow! You go, girl!)
- For each public appearance she earns $100,000 to $300,000.
- Her book ("Confessions...") sold more than 1m copies and made her around 200,000 euro. She is working on a follow up.

Phew! That's it! Hopefully that was interesting to people. Seems like the only real bit of news (considering we don't have the interview part) is about the hybrid car thing, which sounds interesting. But I thing some of the stats on her earnings are quite interesting. From $7m to $20m in a year shows she's really going places. Go Paris!

Thanks for giving us that taster to the main interview enbis78. Yeah, a lot of it is familiar ground but I guess articles have to do that for those living under a rock. The more repeated it is that our girl earns so much of her own fortune though the better - maybe some of the haters will take note eventually (yeah, right around the announcement of an end to world poverty ).

That was interesting, but there is nothing really new. I'm gonig to go over it again later, just to make sure. So her book sold at least 1M copies, very interesting.

The black & white final head shot is gorgeous. But the pic w/the nipple slip is my other favorite. It's simply divine, like the Goddess herself. It does not cheapen the mag or Paris.

GQ did nothing wrong. I may be wrong but I believe Paris signed off on these pics. She's a big enough star to have input. They wouldn't want to burn their bridges with her. Now if there was some miscommunication, I can understand Paris being upset about the shot being in the mag. But if she agreed to it as I believe she did, more power to her. Obviously she was involved in the shot. It does not look like a photoshop fake-out. GQ would not do that.

There is nothing inherently wrong with the pic on its own. It's supernatural. Such a pretty, nice nipple, too. I bet that nipple never has, never will hurt anybody. One day if Paris has her way the nipple that once turned you on, nourished the world's eyes, will probably give life-sustaining milk to her own baby.

Meanwhile women breast-feed openly in public. Isn't life wonderful? & insane? Hell, we're all adults here. Right? Any children in the house? Paris is 26 years old, not a teen idol. Is Paris Hilton Site going to support REPO: The Genetic Opera? There's sure to be nudity, sex, language & violence in there. I mean, do we adults have to live our entire lives for the children? Even those of us who do not have any? Or do we have to take back seats to adult prudes? I mean part of why we love Paris is she pushes the sexy envelope, is hot as hell, no?

When I was brought up I had it literally beaten into me regularly that children are to be seen and not heard. Now this PC business has gone way overboard. Now adults should not be seen or heard. Pornography must be kept locked in a guarded, underground vault (anyone else seen that episode of Family Guy?) Paris is not a pornography star. Not that there is anything wrong with that. Her "sex tapes" were released without her consent. But even they had been with her consent, I would not hold that against her. Only my body. She's not dirty at all to me. I'm the beast & she's beauty. Hell, even if someone is a prostitute that does not make them evil to me. Everyone acts like prudes and biddies in this country, social judges and executioners. It's the Salem Betch Trials outside, when behind closed doors we all do all kinds of so-called nasty things.

These pics are not pornography. It's the human body. Paris has a gorgeous body and is the most photogenic creature, ever. The pornography capitol of the world won't put one of their best models on any over-the-counter men's magazine covers because now we suddenly consider her trash. Maxim wouldn't put her in their Hot 100. But Sara Silverman, who is not hot but whose mouth is full of trash, comes in at No. 29. So now we have to export the hottest woman in the country so the rest of the world can celebrate her. Someone let me know when this begins to make sense.

Europe is not so hung up on petty morals. They celebrate the human body and sex. They do not treat it like a dirty taboo. They are more sincere, open and honest than this hypocrite country. They must be doing something right over there. Germany was smart enough to stay out of the damn Iraq War. Talk about a disgusting, vile, filthy, bloody evil tragedy. Anyone seen the pics from out of Abu Ghraib? I believe in truth, so I am glad those pics came out, to expose the torture we support and export. But what is revealed in those pics is something thewaymouth does not support.

Hey thewaymouth, don't worry I won't ban just because you disagree with me. And I'll see what I can do about the censorship. It came with the software.

I really do understand your point and you have good arguments, but I personally think that private parts should be kept private, especially when it comes to someone like Paris Hilton or any popular celebrity. I'm sure you've noticed that I avoid talking or promoting the tape because not only she doesn't support it, but it's something not right, I think. This is just a very personal opinion.

Chances are that Paris saw that picture and didn't mind. Actually, I think she would agree with you and disagree with me. I don't think she considers a nipple a big thing because I've seen her wear see through clothes, but it's just something I personally don't consider OK.

ParisHiltonSite.net will definitely support Repo, but obviously not the nude scenes. Paris once said she will never expose herself in a movie no matter how much the director pressures her. She can be sexy, but no nudity.

Some good points from both of you guys there, Enkil and thewaymouth, and it's good that we all respect eachother enough on here to disagree constructively. Afterall, we all agree on the important stuff, that Paris is the most amazing, wonderful person there is!
For me, as long as Paris agrees to it, I'm happy. She is an incredibly sexy and beautiful and that's partly why I love her, so if she agreed, which is probably likely, then fine. The sex tape was obviously total exploitation and betrayal as she didn't agree. The GQ pictures are truly beautiful, and if she OK'd it, fine by me.

One Night In Paris is a betrayal and an exploitation. but correct me if I'm wrong: Paris did demand and get her cut from it, her penny royalties. So she may not support it, but since she couldn't stop it, she got financial support from it. Reportedly some but not all, money went to charity. Not exactly blood money, more like, what the hell, oh well, here's some honey money.

I got no truck with that. No one would have bought it if it wasn't for her.

I prefer sex & nudity over blood & death. And truth over censorship. To each his or her own.
