If you were to pick the singles from Paris Hilton's debut album Paris, what would you pick and it what order?
For me:
1. Stars Are Blind
2. Turn It Up
3. Nothing In This World
4. Screwed
5. I Want You

Good question. Many more singles should've been released!
1. Turn You On
2. Nothing in this World
3. Turn It Up
4. Heartbeat
5. Jealousy (last single)
I would love to see Paris dance in a music video for Turn You On and Turn It Up, like Britney did for "Opps," huh no, maybe not... more like in
modern "Paris" style.

Songs released:
1.Stars are blind
2.Turn it up
3.Nothing in this world
4.Screwd+Jealousy(it seems they were released only in Asia. I hope it will be released all over the world, too)
Then, all her songs should have been released!in this way:
5.Heartbeat
6.Turn you on
7.I want you
8. Fightin' over me
9.Not leaving without you
I'd like Paris makes a music video for all her songs, in particular for "Heartbeat", "Turn you on" and "Do ya think I'm sexy?".
I love her music!!!

I think 9 singles is wayyy to much, haha. That means only 2 songs wouldn't have been released. :X
I would have loved for her to dance. Hell, she goes to clubs all the time, she's probably picked up a thing or two. Haha.
A "Heartbeat" video would be awesome. I can totally picture it.

good question but hard to answers I love all them!!!!!!
1. nothing in this world
2. stars are blind
3. turn it up
4. turn you on
I choose those cause I think they are the most catchy IMO but she could release like a song for like each kind of music, like fightimng over me for
hoper guys, nothing in this world for pop lovers, turn you on and turn it up for clubbers, etc. That would be a great way to promote the album, but
just 2 singles!! geez why she didn´t released even a third one???

"Screwed" in the song means, "Oh no, how the hell am I going to get out of this now?"
But in regular usage now, it means, well, you've just been sexed.

No, I'm kidding. Like, turn up the volume or turn up the "heat" (sexiness, etc.)

1. Nothing In This World
2. Turn You On
3. Turn It Up
4. Screwed
Stars Are Blind was surely a hit, but I'd rather pick these songs to single tracks. I love all songs in this CD, so it's the hardest part to put
them in order.

Stars Are Blind should have never been a single! It's so weak and plain! Even though I just heard it in Fred Meyers yesterday hehe.
Nothing In This World would have caught everyones attention and keep it going with Screwed then Turn It Up.

Hilarious. (Best joke I've read in the forum so far.)
& I like your icon pics w/caption/catch phrase,
"Paris + Lindsay = Love."
Masha & Lilo were already my favorites last year, w/Paris having the best album, & Lindsay the best single, "Confessions." Then when last fall they became listed as the two most hated Hollywood celebs, that made the lovin easy for me. The more they hate-on, well all righty then. F-U! The more I dedicate my love to them. So for me, they do actually equal love.
(Is that Lindsay as your avatar? Looks like it. That's hot.)
I like your website, too. View Music. I recommend everyone check it re: new music releases.
All right, I'll shut down the love fest now before I make anyone more sick... Back to this great topic.
BTW, this was VERY hard & took me a long time, a lot of listens just now. Every song has reasons why it should it have come out, be celebrated on its own. So to me everyone here has the right answer. There are so many styles on the album as well. This is why I love this album so much. It is so damn strong. Not only was it the best album of the year, it is in the running for best album of the millennium. Certainly my favorite right now.
So here's to what coulda, shoulda been. Like Nicole Kidman's character says in the movie "Eyes Wide Open," talking about men, "If they only knew." But then The Stooges and the Velvet Underground were criminally ignored by the world at the time their albums came out. Now they are recognized as classics. Will PARIS ever get its due?
Here are my PARIS singles, in order.
1 Screwed (original version)
2 Fightin' Over Me
3 Jealousy
4 Heartbeat
5 Turn You On
6 Not Leaving Without You
& because I'm a writer, I can't stand myself, I mean, help but list my reasons:
1 "Screwed" should have come out when it was leaked in 2004. Finally it more than gets its proper respect, its disco club dues, by introducing Paris to the world in all her divine glory.
2 "Fightin' Over Me" was my MySpace profile, rap fight song last summer. I'm not much into rap but everything the album PARIS touches turns to gold. Thus this becomes one of my fav rap songs of all time. Fat Joe brings the ball up the floor & zips it off to Jadakiss, who makes a drive to the basket & then a behind the back pass to a streaking Paris, who jams it home. I know there's not a lot of Paris singing on it, but what she brings is primo. "Welcome to Paree."
3 "Jealousy" - The mid-tempo rocker, a killer bitchslap-back song. The heaviest lyrics on the album, obviously, & the singing is the most intense. It has a gorgeous in-the-studio video, my fav vid off PARIS. Plus everyone was talking about the break-up of Paris & Nicole, so this would have added scandalous appeal. Why not take advantage? I can hear high school girls in the streets, & college girls in dorm rooms, singing/shouting it out all together now... But Paris has reunited w/Nicole by this time. Masha is too nice & so does not release it.
4 "Heartbeat" - Time for the obligatory ballad single. So sweet.
5 "Turn You On" - We're deep into copping buzzes off the album now, so got to hit 'em hard to keep it rolling on. Time for the best song. The Most Wanted Gangsta Paris.
6 "Not Leaving Without You" - For the stragglers. This song has a country western disco twang so might even get them line dancers up on the floor. "It's like search & destroy." Paris & PARIS ain't leaving anyone behind, ain't leaving till everyone gets in line, & has a fabulously fun time.
PARIS -
HELLA THRILLA BRILLA BELLA

Yeah, that's the gorgeous Ms. Lohan in my avatar. I love LiLo. "Confessions" is an amazing song, isn't it? I love her music. She's supposed to be recording her third album next month, but because of the arrest, I'm assuming that's on hold.
Haha...that's exactly how I am. When people hate on them, it makes me love them more. In fact, I spammed another forum with a friend last night because they called Paris worthless and said my opinion was invalid because I liked her. But I digress. "You know you're the best when people who don't know you, hate you." It goes without saying that I was banned, but I found this website hidemyass.com where I can still log in when my suspended account gets back on August 1st. Although, because they hate Paris, it should be kissmyass.com
I'd say Paris was my second favorite album of 2006...JoJo's The High Road being my favorite. But Paris is definitely an album that I'll never get tired of.
Aw...thanks so much for all the kind words. I work hard on that blog so knowing people love it is awesome

Wow, it's good to know that there are people out there that love Paris just as much as I do. You don't know how much bullshit I get being a fan of
Paris, and like you guys I'm obligated to defend her every time I hear false shit about her. Like a quote my friend says "Keep talkin', your only
making me famous"
Hehe I'm not a fan of Lindsay though, I used to be but now she's kinda weird.
BTW I just went to http://www.people.com/people and it says that Paris has a
brand new song but when I click the link it just talks about a nightclub?
