According to this article from kansascity.com Hallmark are releasing
a card in their range that thinks it's a jolly great wheeze to call Paris a "skank":
“New! Paris Hilton Perfumes!” screams the cover of one new card.
Three perfume bottles are pictured: “Daddy’s Money,” “Vodka” — and “Skank.”
The punch line inside? “It’s your birthday. Do I smell a party?”
“We look constantly at new ways to connect people,” said Tina Neidlein, senior lead writer for Hallmark. “And with humor, one really common thing we
have to make fun of is celebrities.”
And why not? It’s not like “you can gossip about your co-workers and your friends,” she said.
But of course it's alright to call Paris a skank, merely because she's a celebrity? Or maybe it's just the apparently common knowledge (except for
a few of us it seems) that Paris doesn't have any feelings or human rights. I see this as slander more than any real attempt at "humour" and
another way for opportunistic unimaginative hack jobs to exploit Paris yet again. I hope their card line bombs big time!

So stupid. Hallmark usually makes great and funny cards but making fun of people isn't cool.

It's a disgrace! Paris should sue them. And we should all refuse to buy any of their products! It's so exploitative - trying to make money out of insulting a wonderful person like Paris. Pathetic!

Tsk, that's really rude. I also was nettled when I saw this one show on TV where they were insulting Paris like it was joking. And people laughed. There is really something wrong in their sense of humor.

In other news... Paris is suing Hallmark It seems they've been making
tacky use of her in other cards too and Paris is suing one for using her copyrighted catchphrase "That's Hot!"
Story HERE
If this is true than good luck to Paris. Serves them right for making such tacky use of her and thinking it's all right to exploit her for cheap
humour.
