Paris Hilton and Jessica Simpson boost sales by 43 percent

Last week, it was reported that Paris Hilton’s Fairy Dust and Jessica Simpson’s Fancy (her newest perfume) have boosted Parlux’ fragrance sales by 43 percent!

Fairy Dust will be released worldwide in 2009.

Can anyone confirm if Jessica (or Britney) actually promotes her fragrances, like Paris does? I’ve always wondered. Does she do interviews and public appearances/signings?

I have a feeling that only Paris (maybe of all celebrities) does all of those promotional efforts for her fragrances.

Jessica did the same thing for Fancy, she has been going to Macy’s to Macy’s meet and greet. Britney hasn’t done any perfume promo since Fantasy. Before she made a lot of appearances for Curious.

Christina Aguilar is also doing rounds for her perfume.

Oh, I see! I actually found a couple of pictures of Jessica and her public appearances in Macys.

I almost had the impression that Paris is the only one who does the public appearances to meet her fans, etc. But you definitely get the impression that she does more to promote than other celebrities.

Paris does so much more premotion then others. She just seems to be so involved with her projects rather then the face. She wears her clothing line, apart from Gwen Stefani I cant really think of anyone else who wears their own line on a regular basis. Somehow I dont think Jessica Simpson’s perfume would have had that much of an impact. I personally didnt even know Jessica Simpson had a perfume out. So I somehow think Paris’ perfume had way more of an impact.

I have Jessica’s Fancy and it is excellent. Smells fantastic & the body lotion is amazing. Jess is beautiful!

Paris does a lot more, she goes above and beyond. She goes international and does more appearances than just California ones.

The song “these boots were made for walking” was sung before by Nancy Sinatra, Jessica Simpson absolutely has a firmer looking body than nancys and she made her song a lot more sexier sounding.
