Paris Hilton Back To Russia

Today, Paris Hilton was in Russia, attending the MTV Russian Movie Awards. She also did an interview with Russian media Kazan. They posted the exclusive interview on their website.

I wonder if all this touring the world is going to help the sales of her sophomore album? I really hope she doesn’t get the sophomore slump. I mean opening with 69,000 isn’t that bad at all but I hope she does better with her second album, hopefully 100,000+ copies in it’s first week.

I mean I don’t care if all this touring is helping her products at all but I hope it helps her sophmore album!

I do hate when interviews like this dub over Paris’s voice, rather than using subtitles, but at least that means that Russian viewers can look at Paris all the time, instead of the subtitles – can’t grudge them that 😉

Yeah dubbing sucks when you don’t understand it. Since they took the time to put an English interview text up they could put the undubbed video up alongside as well. Anyway, juju – people pick on her I believe simply because they’re envious of her lifestyle – travelling all over the world, honored wherever she goes, a new outfit everyday! People say she’s done nothing to deserve it (not true) but deep down I think her privileged life is part of the reason we love her too!

Is she talking about the 7 dwarfs?). I really love animals. My dog Tinkerbell isn’t here with me at the moment because I leave her at home when I’m on tour. I really miss her.

The fact that Paris can live a priviliged lifestyle might be part of the fun and part of the glamour and escapism that Paris offers, but it’s nothing to do with why I love her. I think Paris’s sweet personality really shines through and she has many good qualities that other people would do well to possess (she doesn’t need to bash people, she’s pleasant and respectful to others, she doesn’t look down on anyone with less status or money (despite what the haters think), etc). Her personality and talent is more important to me than how much money she has. But we’re all individuals and I realise that privilege or how many outfits Paris has might be why some people like her so much.
