Our Paris Hilton was out celebrating another singer’s brithday, Britney Spears, as you can see her in the background.

At first glance, I thought it was a birthday party for Britney. It wasn’t. It was an event party. I’m sure they had a good time inside, but Paris apparently had to walk outside to simply put on make up, were there no bathrooms or empty rooms inside? This occurred at the very same time that Britney left, which ensured a monstrous photo op. To be honest, I find that to be funny and a stroke of publicity genius on Paris’ part.

One last thing. It does somewhat prove what the poster below, in the “wrong car” article stated about their friendly relationship with the paps. x17 seems to have some sort of deal with Britney, so take what they say lightly. They may have one with Paris also. (These people don’t dislike the paps nearly as much as they claim. Some celebs use them as much as the paps use some of the celebs.)
I’m sure Paris could’ve had someone retrieve her makeup or do it somewhere else, if she wanted to. It gave her a reason to walk outside with Britney. She wanted to have a photo op and a good one. The exposure helps her career. She’s smart that way.
Only negative is that in the video she does kind of follow behind Britney the way the pizza guy follows her. She should have taken Britney’s cousin’s spot instead.

Are these two lovers? Seriously, I think that’s a legit question. This site has asked it. This time last year they were inseparable, awfully touchy feely, and were in some very “awkward” and “overly friendly” pics. I know Mintz gave some weasel-like statement last year that didn’t exactly answer the question. It sounded almost as weak as his “that’s not pot, Paris just rolls her own cigarettes” denial. I would think he wouldn’t answer at all or would give a better answer. I guess that’s why it remains somewhat topical. Has Paris or another of her pr people ever come out with a better statement?
They both have numerous reports/photos of bisexuality in their past, don’t have great histories with guys, and Paris seems obsessed with Britney. Diary entries, photos. It won’t affect my liking of Paris’ work, besides the fact that she’s hanging out with the trainwreck. I don’t think there’s anything that would make me like Britney in the first place.
Now, with Brit’s kids out of the way, and her album already having been released and tanked, well . . . if it makes them happy, then go for it. It hasn’t really hurt other female celebs. I guess it’s more likely than the pizza boy. Although if any questions about Britney are raised, you’ll probably see Paris and Vaggo get real close, really quickly, with lots of PDA’s.

What is up with Britney’s hair? What kind of extensions are those? Did she do them herself? They’re brutal and it’s her birthday, ouch. If she’s going to hang out with Paris more often, which means that even more pics of her will show up on this site, then I hope that Paris hooks her up with Dreamcatchers to do something about that hair. OMG
Paris might also suggest another trip to rehab for Britney. x17 wrote that Brit and co. took numerous bathroom breaks. Judging from the pics, it certainly wasn’t to fix her appearance. Hmmm, I wonder what all those bathroom trips were all about for Britney, the “habitual and frequent user of controlled substances and alcohol.” Who’s the bad influence this time? I also pray to numerous higher powers that Britney will manage to keep her panties on, and/or not subject the world to anymore pics of her naked crotch. I won’t mention other parts of her increasingly Michael Jackson type deterioration and weirdness.
Considering what happened last year and the events in between, I hope it’s obvious to the public who the skank is and who’s the nice person. This definitely shows that Paris is a forgiving person and a loyal friend and maybe walking a dangerous line. I still hope this was only a birthday thing and that they are not hanging out again.

paris needing to hang out with Britney for publicity? yeah, right, that’s a good one. Britney is the last person paris needs to be around or seen with and she knows it. Britney has been after paris since last spring and paris has wisely stayed away. especially after the way britney used paris last year to get out and about again right after her separation.
paris needs britney like she needs a hole in her head and she and all her PR people know it. David is right, Britney has a deal with X 17, but Paris has deals with no one. Why? Because she doesn’t need them and further, the internet sites are mainly sources of negative PR against Paris, which she definitley doesn’t need!
That whole thing about paris thinking there is no such thing as bad publicity started years ago with Page 6. Paris has never bought into that, but like with most things, conventional PR wisedom also says that you never respond to bad PR or else it just legitimizes it and invites more bad PR. (think Heather Mills’ recent PR melt down and ensuing backlash). So when things like that are reported, all stars, paris included, just let it go. You have to pick your battles carefully or else you’ll be spending your entire career responding to false stories, which will only encourage more false stories. So they are wisely ignored. That doesn’t make them true.
I think Paris was only there for the event and wisely avoided Britney as much as possible without being impolite.

juju I agree about the bad PR. Some celebrities have had big lengthy and costly legal battles against false or negative reports, just to get a small buried at the back retraction that noone reads anyway. If Paris was actually fighting all the bad stories that come up about her, it would probably take up all her time and energy. I’m surprised that Larry King was so clueless about this when interviewing Paris – he seemed more interested in whether she was reading her bible, lol!

Ok, I’m not fond of Perez, but I check out one or different sites besides, tmz. I used to think that he was cool to Paris. If you believe this one linked below and the other reports, x17, tmz, then I guess Paris decided to go for as you write a “hole in the head.” You might also want to rethink that part about her not having any deals with anyone.
I’m really not a fan of Britney’s and I can already see the headlines from more mainstream broadcast media, not good.
I don’t really want to get anywhere near Rachel’s comments. Perez can’t be right. Panties as a gift. That is pretty creepy. YUUUUCCCCKCKK!!!!
Whatever their relationship, these two are not good news together.

If they are panties for Britney, then, yes, that’s weird. I don’t think so. Just a snarky Perez Hilton comment and how reliable is he anyway.
Paris- “Hi, Brit!!! I haven’t seen you in awhile (allegedly) Last night was fun. Here’s some panties. Happy birthday!!! Do you want to try them on now?”
(Really, don’t think so even if they were freaky close last year.)

I hope Paris is careful with this friendship. Not b/c of her image (that’s kind of shot if they hang much together in public or too many stories leak that they’re hanging out privately, which they’ve most likely done a few times since the summer.), but b/c Britney seems about to implode and I hope she doesn’t take Paris with her.

i can’t imagine paris wanting to be seen with britney for all of the reasons you state. let’s hope this one was unavoidable and it won’t happen again because you know they’ll be linked together even if they both just happen to be at the same event and exchange pleasantries.
that sadi, we all know paris can be toosweet adn naive for her own good sometimes adn may take pity on brit. in that case,hopefully her PR folks are there with a net to drag her out.
i don’t really have anything against britney, but she is about to implode and i really think someone needs to net her and drag her in for a complete physical and psych eval.

oh yeah, and elliott mintz who is actually a very well-regarded publicist in LA has said that paris has no deals….they don’t need them! a look at how she is followed attests to that. plus again, the streets paps are mainly connected to negative media. it’s usually stars who don’t normally attract a lot of attention and have something to promote who do this.
