Paris Hilton denies being offended by Aussie reporter
It was reported earlier that Paris Hilton was offended when an Aussie reporter from Channel 7 asked her a question about fame during an interview. The question that reporter Edwina Bartholomew asked her was: “What about when you’re not famous anymore, what are you gonna do.”
News site Yahoo! OMG! UK writes that the question clearly troubled Paris, but looking at the video, she doesn’t look offended at all, and she seemed fine answering the question. An offensive question? Hardly. Who says there aren’t times when Paris and other celebrities wish they weren’t in the public eye 24/7?
Apparently, Channel 7 was told that if they show the interview, they “would never get access to her again.”
Paris then sent Edwina this message: “Hi Edwina, It was great to meet you yesterday. I just heard that someone told you I was upset with the interview and that you aren’t welcome at the event tonight. I thought the interview went well, maybe someone else was unhappy but I wasn’t. Please consider this a personal invitation from me for you to join us tonight. Hope to see you there!”
Edwina later tweeted: “For those who give two hoots, yes, Paris did (re)invite me tonight. No, I won’t be going. Off on a road trip to a mate’s wedding in Cooma!”
Perhaps one of her handlers mistakenly thought that she found the question offensive?

So obviously one of her handlers got a bit too sensitive. We’ve seen interviews where Paris gets a question she doesn’t like. She’s not subtle about dismissing them. Here, she doesn’t even hesitate to answer. I hate the attitude of the reporter. Paris was nothing but friendly, no need to be so condescending and rude.

Seriously. When Paris doesn’t like a question, she gets very obviously uncomfortable very quickly. She didn’t even bat an eyelash at the question. Just the desperate media trying to do whatever they can to belittle her.

Well, I am not surprised that the interviewer was “consdescengind and rude” like scot said.
I mean if someone was nice to my face and then their PR people would tell that they were mad, i would be pissed too.
And like people said, Paris didn’t look unconfortable at all with the question.

I don’t think that Paris is worried about fading away anytime soon LOL
Her numbers of followers are ever increasing and her life is going great.
This reporter or the station tried to make a story out of a non-story.
Isn’t that the usual pattern?
When they can’t find anything bad to say they punch something up. Or they tell outright lies.
