Paris Hilton ditches soda and unhealthy food

Reported by Belfast Telegraph UK

Paris Hilton is eating a lot more fruit and vegetables these days to help boost her energy levels.

The 34-year-old star has always had a svelte frame and currently looks better than ever, as seen in her regular posts on Instagram showing her posing in slimming ensembles.

Sharing the secret to her tiny waist, the reality star turned DJ puts it down to cutting out all fizzy pop.

“I stopped drinking soda about a year ago. It just shrank my midsection almost overnight,” she revealed to Mail Online.

Another reason why Paris now shuns bubbly drinks is to consume more water, as she found herself turning to other beverages to hydrate herself. She wasn’t even drinking low-calorie options, admitting she guzzled down Coca-Cola as she didn’t like the taste of Diet Coke despite it being the healthier choice.

Nowadays the blonde beauty is also incorporating vegetables into her drinks.

“I like green smoothies, they taste good and they make me feel more energetic,” she added.

“I also like regular juices. I get a lot more vitamins these days, more fruits too, more vegetables, more protein, more salads.”

This isn’t the first time Paris has altered her diet drastically; last year she revealed she gave up fast food which resulted in a five pound weightless in a short amount of time. But when temptation does take hold, she goes for a turkey burger rather than heavier foods.

Paris needs all the energy she can get at the moment with her regular DJ gigs. She has a big job coming up later this year in Ibiza, which she revealed on Instagram this morning with a short video of herself behind the decks in a club.

“Can’t wait to be back for my DJ residency this Summer at @AmnesiaIbiza! I’ll be playing every Saturday from July till September! See you there,” she wrote excitedly.

It’s best to quit processed food, soda, fast food. Fruit juice isn’t necessarily healthy, so intake should be limited. Raw fruits and vegetables are the best.
