Paris Hilton First Meal: Cereal Juice, and Bread

Paris Hilton had her first meal in jail and — well, let’s just say, it ain’t gourmet grub. The hotel heiress, according to Sheriff’s Dept. spokesman Steve Whitmore, had cereal, bread, and juice.

Meanwhile, Paris is getting some unsolicited advice from a former inmate at the jail, where she surrendered to authorities in the wee hours this morning, as TMZ showed you exclusively this morning.

Susannah Johnson, released Saturday after a one-day stay at the Century Regional Detention Facility, tells the AP, “The only advice I could give her when she comes is to shut her mouth and do the time.” Johnson says that some inmates are already angry at Paris because they think her arrival is making the over-crowding problem at the jail worse that it already is.

Meanwhile, at the MTV Movie Awards, Paris’ jail time was an easy punching bag for host Sarah Silverman and presenters, and the L.A. Times observes that the hotel heiress looked “near tears” when the crowd at the show “lustily cheered” a proposal that she be sent off to jail early — which she did anyway, with a smile on her face.
