Paris Hilton Visits South African Orphanage

According to sabcnews, within hours after arriving in South Africa for Benji’s tour, Paris Hilton visited a children’s home in Pretoria.

The South African website reports: “Hilton spent two hours touring the orphanage which is home to children between the ages of three and 18 years. She spent most of her time with the younger children – out of sight of the dozens of photographers present.”

The 200 children at the Jacaranda Children’s Home, who recognized Paris, gave her a “South African ostrich feathered ‘shawls’.”

Honestly Benji isn’t too good looking. It seems okay if the guy is ugly to society but if the girl is ugly in a relationship there’s a big problem, as if women have to look all pretty for men when the favor is not returned.

I cant believe she actually went and did that! That has to be good press for her, if the media chooses to mention it. And Morgan why are you still talking about how bad the relationship when Paris is off doing thing like this? Just be happy that Paris is happy and that she is visiting an orphanage. Also benji is not UGLY at all.

The thing is that… to really get good press, she needs to do that and charity work very often. She could do all of amazing things for herself and the world.

I really do feel like there is nothing I can do. My dreams are dead and in the shadows, but the last glimmer of hope in my heart is her. I really don’t feel like I could be happy through any major other method. I have few aspirations, and I wouldn’t say my wanting to be a game designer/writer is a dream, more like a career choice.

i guess i alos need a restraining order, at least according to david’s standards … since I also have said i don’t agree withher being with benji. mainly becasue he’s aparently using her. bin the past, both he and joel have been critical of her. now they launch a clothing line and voila! benji breaks off his engagement to sophie and begins dating paris immediately thereafter.

They haven’t just suddenly launched a clothing line; it’s been around for years. It was first called MADE and then they changed it to what it is now. If it has been going for the past few years it means it’s successful, hence why they are able to keep going with it. Now if they already have a successful fashion line why would they use Paris Hilton to flaunt their clothes when she doesn’t really reflect the typical Good Charlotte fans?

Now what is so bad with Paris dating Benji? Because he’s not the cliché good looking guys that Paris has dated in the past? I think its great, he is down to earth, he had an honest upbringing, he worked to get to where he is, he hasn’t had everything given to him. Everything he has he worked for. Also he is a true musician; this is a huge bonus for Paris. He can teach her so much about song writing, producing and singing even playing instruments.

Morgan, you are seriously pathetic and deranged. Sorry to be harsh but you are. Go out and live your life. Be happy for Paris, if something is supposed to happen between you and her, it will. But you are really embarrassing yourself and making yourself look like a plain obsessive stalker. You sound like someone who would sit in a palm tree while watching Paris’ home from a distance and masturbate and then leave your “love juice” in her letterbox and call it an act of love.

If you are true fans you would see how happy Paris is. You would see that since she has been with him things have been going good for Paris, real good. I mean look at her SHE IS IN AFRICA! Do you honestly think she would be there right now if it wasn’t for his influence? He is a positive influence on Paris.

I apologise if I have come off as a complete asshole but seriously you guys, stop bickering and fighting just because you don’t think Benji is hot enough or whatever. Paris loves him, that should be enough of a reason for you guys to stop being so nasty and show him some respect. True fans are protective, true fans look out for Paris but true fans also can see when she is happy, when there is something or someone in her life that makes her change for the better, that someone is Benji. I admit I’m not a fan of Good Charlotte and yes I think he moved on rather quickly from Sophie Monk and I wasn’t a huge fan of the idea at first but you can see in all the photos of Benji and Paris together, there is a twinkle in her eye which I haven’t really seen before. She looks so genuinely happy. Be happy for Paris, you may not agree with it but she is happy so be respectful.

I do trust paris, but not Benji. with good reason…both he and joel have not been good to her in the past….. that has nothing to do with his appearance, but everything to do with his charachter.

i do give sophie big props though for addressing the anti-paris gossip by speaking out and saying her and benji’s relationship ended amicably and had nothing to do wth paris. Now if Sophie can publically defend paris by putting the kabash on the gossip, then why can’t Nicole, Joel or Benji do the same? Their silence is deafening. So much for friends.

even without all that, I think any mature young woman knows better than to be in a rebound relationship and expect anything.

This is fantastic! I’m so pleased to see that she’s doing this. Obviously, it was planned for a while for her to go to Africa, but she’s finally done it, despite all those who thought it wouldn’t happen. And now she deserves some respect from the media for this (Don’t hold your breathe, though!). She is devoting her time and giving publicity to a good cause, and I have no doubt that it would have meant the world to those kids to meet her, and see how much she cares about them.
Well done, Paris! She has a heart of gold!
