“Thank God I’m free!”

These were the words of Paris Hilton, smiling and fluffing her newly replaced blonde hair extensions Tuesday at her grandfather’s Bel Air mansion, just hours after her release from the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, Calif.

In an exclusive interview and photo shoot with PEOPLE, Hilton, 26, gave a candid glimpse into her 23 days in jail – including her explanation of the medical problems that led to her brief transfer to house arrest, and what she says she’s learned from her experience.

Julie Chen speaks with Jess Cagle, People magazine’s assistant managing editor, about his exclusive interview with Paris Hilton, given hours after her release from a Los Angeles prison.

When he said that before meeting Paris he had the same impression as “everybody else” I couldn’t help thinking “speak for yourself, buddy!” I hope Paris finds the right balance of finding her new image, charity work and being the same old Paris we know and love. I hope she doesn’t do anything extreme like become a nun, lol (although that’s just me personally and she can do whatever the hell she damn wants of course)!

If she realy have changed ,it’s a realy ideal women…And I saw this in her, many years ago,and I feel that she don’t have only beaty figure and face,but have a beuty soul,but it all was under mask !!! Now I think she have blossom like a flavour … Love her very much… 😉
