Steven, it wasnt a big flop. It wasnt a huge smash hit but it delivered good ratings. It was a successful project and Paris should be happy with how it did.

Steven,
It definitely wasn’t a “big flop.” Maybe I’m over exaggerating when I say that it was “a big success,” but the finale did attract 1.8 million viewers, which is very good.
I think we can say that Paris Hilton’s My New BFF was a good successful show.
And what makes you think that it was a flop?

I don’t think this show was a flop at all! People at school would always understand what I’m talking about when I mention the show, and I would always get asked “Who Won Again” showing people actually watched some of the season. This is good compared to the final season of The Simple Life too which I believe only averaged barely a million viewers or like 800,000 or something like that.
I think this show is really good and was a good success for MTV.

definitely not a flop….but certainly no simple life season 1 either( i think several million viewers/episode if i remember correctly), which of course was on fox, a major network AND when everybody still loved paris prior to the ric salomon fiasco…
so given it was mtv, it did smashing and i think paris has every right to be very proud!
my favorite moment of the entire show was when paris said high fashion and modeling were some of her most favorite things…if only she did more! then she’d get the mainstream props she deserves. she’s very bit as great as gisele, bar, heidi, etc!!
