Paris Hilton’s Press Conference About ParisBFF
If only we had the raw video footage of these press conferences. In my opinion, they are 1000x more interesting than those stupid TMZ videos!
Luckily, we now get to see a few minutes of Paris Hilton’s latest press conference, but it is greatly interrupt by some comedian named Jimmy Kimmel, who was trying to be funny in front of Paris Hilton. It’s probably not a good idea to have a comedian in the middle of a serious press conference! I think Paris seemed a bit annoyed by this guy lol.
Anyway, Paris was answering questions about her new reality show ParisBFF.

Huh? I’m confused b/c the video that played for me wasn’t Paris. It was a bunch of random people dancing together. It was weird.

That guy’s an unfunny ass and comes across as someone sabotaging Paris’s press conference, rather than part of the show. Bringing up Paris’s incarceration like that is in bad taste and there’s no excuse for it (especially after the Letterman incident), unless there’s comfirmation that this was Paris approved (but why would she want her own event turned into some other guy blowing hot air and taking away other people’s chances to ask something interesting and Paris’s chance to talk about the project?).

Jimmy Kimmel has a late-night talk show on ABC, “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” This clip was displayed on his show.
Kimmel is not the guy who asked the questions of Paris. That is comedian Tony Barbieri, who plays a fictional character, super fan Jake Byrd. He apparently was on the scene during Paris’ trial a year ago.
Kimmel usually ridicules celebs fairly brutally. I’m surprised he showed this clip. For even though Byrd pokes fun, I think he’s sweet toward Paris in his own crazy way. I think it’s pretty funny, too.
Byrd BTW did get to smell her hair. Here’s a longer video from Kimmel’s show, that sets up the above clip, & shows the end of the press conference.

PS Update: Apparently this Byrd is a regular feature on Kimmel’s show.
If you check out the video I linked above, view the many other Paris related videos on Byrd’s MySpace channel. He was the “crazy guy” that was going wild when Paris was released. Here’s the link to that.

Fabulous. Hilarious. Joyful because of AND in spite of, the mockery. It brings back the excitement of the night. Loves it.
Overall, I think he’s awesome. Again it’s as positive as you could possibly hope for, considering these clips are featured on national TV. Yes, it’s over the top, & pokes fun at Paris, but makes fun of the media, the haters & the “justice system” as well.

yeah i recognized the ass as the guy who was well, being an ass, during all the hub-bub last year on the courthouse steps and at the jail
. but the other obvious thing about jimmy kimmel is that he’s sarah silverman’s boyfriend, who we all know doesn’t like paris.
