I’m moving soon and will be without the internet for a little while so I hope I don’t miss it!
I’m so positive about what’s happening with this second album, I really believe we’re actually going to get it. I also believe that it could do really well. Despite Stars Are Blind being a world-wide hit and the album getting a generally positive response, it didn’t do what it should’ve and deserved to do. One thing Paris NEEDS to do is to perform. She HAS to. Sing over a backing track (not too loud, though. Give us live vocals!). A good performance from Paris would do wonders. I’d love for Paris to do a video with Sophie Muller directing. The comeback is going to happen!

I agree. Since TWATP has ended, she doesn’t seem to have any other TV/acting stuff going on, so I think she’s putting all her energy into this album as her current entertainment “product” so to speak. Considering how much time she has spent with various house music producers over the past several months, and how much she has tweeted about it, I definitely believe this album will be coming out next year. Can’t wait!

i try not to get too excited about this album, because every time i do then i don’t hear anything for months! but i will agree lately it has been more consistent than it has been in quiet awhile!

Im pretty sure the album its gonna come out next year,she is not doing anything else plus she has been working in this album years and years and she changes a lot, Do u remember “Kylie Minogue” inspired? Xmas time would be perfect for a new single

That’s also why I’m positive about it coming out, this seems to be her main focus as opposed to randomly being in the studio every so often when she’s more focused on other things.

I think a Kylie Minogue inspired album would’ve been really cool. I love synth pop and I think Paris’ voice would’ve worked perfectly (songs like All The Lovers or The One) Especially had she gotten into the studio with people like Richard X or Stuart Price. That would’ve been amazing. But I love that she moved on from it and has found a producer she can really work with. Good Time sounds amazing in demo form and I think it has the chance to be a huge song like J.Lo’s On The Floor was earlier this year. But hopefully Paris will have success with her album and other singles too.

The way this album is promoted is going to make the difference. She needs to come out and say, I make music because I enjoy it. She doesn’t need to prove anything to anyone. As I said before, live performances are a MUST. She also needs to do an acoustic performance of Stars Are Blind because I want one so bad. Killer music videos and just Paris being herself 110%.

I think it would be good for her to just release some of her old recording she was doing for her album at first, like on her youtube channel, just to get the buzz going around that shes getting back into music so people will be ready for it. And i’ll be very upset if i never get to hear her cover of Kim Carnes “Bette Davis Eyes”!
