Repo! To Be Released On November 7th
Confirmed
An update version of the official Repo! website is now up. You can hear a few short music clips. There’s also a special video about a song called “17”. It is sang by the Spy Kids girl, Alexa Vega. Overall, I really like some of the songs I heard. I think they’re going to be very catchy songs. But I’m not too impressed with the website, in the sense that it’s not showing much. I just can’t wait to see the movie!
So! Repo! now has an official date release: November 17, 2008!
This means that it will be up against another new 007 movie, which is going to be released on the same date. Why release Repo! on the same date, especially if it’s going to be a limited release? But I say, no to a limited release! I want it to be screened in all 3000 theatres.
Here’s another good news, the soundtrack is officially coming out on September 30th, 2008! That’s 39 days after the second anniversary of “Paris.”
Also, those who will be seeing Repo! on July 18th in Montreal (including yours truly) will be happy to know that there will be appearances by the Spy Kids girl, Terrance Zdunich and Bill Moseley, according to the website. I don’t know if they’re going to present at the theatre. No Paris Hilton, I’m afraid.

I wonder if she’ll go to the premier of her own movie…if not I’m wondering why she’s been laying low so much.

Lionsgate is a major distributor of quality movies. Undoubtedly, Repo! will be seen in the UK.
I also assume it will be dubbed and seen in other countries. Of course, horror type monies are a genre with a specialized following.

This movie will probably go international based on the success of the limited release in the US. Right now a limited movie called “The Whackness” was only released to 6 theaters and made like $125,000+ in a weekend, now it’s going EVERYWHERE. Hopefully Repo! can do the same thing.
Also in the post you said that Repo! is being released November 17th, it’s the 7th. Also the site it said Paris was attending but I guess they changed it.
