Simple Life 5 Ratings Are In

The premiere of Simple Life 5 attracted excellent ratings, 1.3 million viewers. Simple Life 4 also premiere with the same amount of audience. For a network like E!, this is great news.

However, here’s the bad news: the numbers have been declining ever since. Just last Sunday, the show attracted a new low, 787,000 viewers. The previous Sunday, it pulled in just 890,000 viewers.

But still, Simple Life 5 is E! network’s highest-rated show of the week.

Apparently, this week, the bosses of E! are working on ways to get more press after Paris Hilton comes out of jail.

Let me tell you something, I know that you think the whole jail coverage would boost the ratings of the show, but I knew it wasn’t going to happen simply because most people were concentrated on that. Plus, she didn’t do a televised appearance.

Here’s the bigger problem. I personally believe that Simple Life 1, 2 and 3 were the best. The fourth season was the worse. The fifth season was better than the fourth, but not as good as the first, which is my favourite. I would say that I was much more excited to watch the episodes of the thrid season than this season.

Simple Life 5 seems to lack something. It isn’t like the first and second seasons. It lacks something that would make us want to watch more. Maybe it’s the casting, or perhaps, it’s just that the episodes aren’t really interconnected to make it look interesting. Or as I would say, it is “artificially” filmed like every other TV show on television. Nevermind if you don’t know what I’m talking about.

Simple Life 5 is fun to watch, of course, but that’s about it.

Well, it’s not doing TOO bad. Should be higher though…it’s a great show.
Hell, it’s getting nearly twice the viewers that TRL is anyway. =P

The reason the showe suck this season, it not becus of the jail stuff, it’s becus it’s really scripted this season, and Paris and Nicole are not them selfs.
I know they mess upp jobes and stuff inn the other season ass well, to make a showe, and hae funn. But then it’s them doing it, and not scripted like this season it. This season is scripted whit fake people and stuff, and that say’s it all.
Don’t blame Paris and her jail stuff, for the low raitings, blame the person who mad the showe scripted like this.
It’s so fake now,and i hate it.
I hope next season is back to normal. I will still watch, but it’s not like the first 4 seasons.
I really liked the 4th season as well, even tho they where not togheter, and it wasnt as simple as the first 3, being inn LA and stuff, but still bether then this.
