Video: Paris Hilton says sophomore album is almost done

In a new interview by HollyScoop.com, for the 35658th time, Paris Hilton said that her second album is “almost finished.” She also gave some more scoop on The World According to Paris. She also added that she’s planning to release a new collection line of Paris Hilton clothes, shoes and handbags.

It is really strange that Paris Hilton’s clothing collection, and handbag collection are not available in the US at the moment. I also noticed that she tends to sign up more with European companies for her products.

It would also kewl to see Paris Hilton shops in North America, and not just in the Middle East and Asia…

Wasn’t it “finished & looking for a label” in 2008…? I love Paris, but come on, if people like Heidi Montag & Katie Price can release albums & standalone singles direct to iTunes, so can she, surely!

I think that it is taking Paris such a long time because she is working on so many other things and more importantly, she really wants it to be good. She is writing all the songs and putting a lot of effort into it. I am sure Heidi and Katie didn’t.

I agree. Heidi’s album only sold like 650 copies and I didn’t even know Katie Price put out a song/album. When Paris does something, she does it big and right. She’s still taking voice lessons and she talks about the album a lot. She’s very aware that we’re hungry for it and it’s definitely on her to-do list, but right now she’s more focused on her brands and new show. Maybe once the filming wraps, she’ll give the new album her full attention. I think it would make a great storyline for her show.

its deff taking paris longer cause i believe she actually wants to put out solid good music. shes not one of those music hungry, fame hungry, i want to be anything hollywood girls. it seems like shes taking the time to craft quality music.

also enkil, her clothes and purses arent sold in north america because honestly i dont think it sells that well here. shes HOT internationally, so her international branding is strong. shes not so relevant in the US anymore sadly 🙁 it makes sense though because celebs like paris tend to be treated like godess’ internationally

I’m not so sure if that’s the reason, kevin. I think I remember her saying that she was looking for a new partner after Dollhouse dropped the line, but it’s been a while. She also has a successful shoe line in the US. How can Nicole Richie have a successful clothing line in the US, and not Paris? Nicole Richie gets 10% of the attention Paris gets!

nicole richie is respected in the fashion world. the us press has presented her nicely now. people see her as a mom and not the party girl anymore. the us STILL sees paris as the 2003 party girl that she no longer is. the us wont take her seriously as a business woman just yet (well at least the ignorant general public)

Nicole is just strange.

Paris is much more successful, with 17 different lines vs Nicole;s 4

Nicole is still riding on the coattails of having been in the successful Simple Life.

But on her own steam, her last book did not do real great and Good Charlotte’s latest album fizzled out too.

Nicole keeps saying that she is still friends with Paris but she is just behaving very strangely. Oh well.
