What Can We Expect From Paris Hilton In 2008
In an interview with 944 magazine, Paris Hilton reveals some of her plans for 2008. There’s no doubt that she wants to work more and make a bigger name for herself.
She says she wants to take things “to the next level.” She again mentions that people (haters) don’t really know her: “It makes me angry because people don’t know the real me, and I’m a very hard worker.”
About Repo!, she says: “It will be interesting for people to see me look so different.”
She also discusses her marketing strategies: “I travel around the world constantly promoting my projects and endorsing products. Yes, I do get paid to go to parties; in fact, I’m the person who started the whole trend of paid appearances. But when you see me at a party, I’m always working or promoting something, even if it’s as simple as wearing my clothing line for the pictures.”
Her new projects will include “a new reality show.” It’s not clear if she’ll be producing it, though, but she says she’s interested in producing TV shows and wants to be “on the other side [of the camera] for a change.”
Regarding her charity plans, she says that everything she does, benefits charity in some way. Usually, 10% or 20% of the profit generated from her products goes to charity. That’s what she’s probably referring to.
But once again, she reveals that she’s working on (what appears to be) a major charity project, called “The Paris Hilton Foundation”: “I’m looking at starting my own charity, The Paris Hilton Foundation, which will help take the charity work I want to do to the next level.”

10-12% going to charity is quite a huge chunk since the standard BP tends to be 1% at most wrt product retail sales.
so i’m not sure i believe that….. she may be refering to the percentage from her total personal income that she donates?

oh and one more thing, personally, I she should just work on what she enjoys or wants to do and quit worrying about what people think of her. given today’s media, only time and somebody else coming along for them to ruin will fade that aspect of her image.
I don’t think it’s psychologically helpful for anyone to constantly be worrying about what other people think or trying to please everybody. that’s impossible.

Wow I’m surpised no one posted this but I found many videos of Paris singing Bette Davis Eyes live.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=QNojNwlnl1E
There is a link to one and the person who posted this has many more. And like it was posted July 25th, 2007 too! At the end of BDE, I hear the beginning for Stars Are Blind a lot. I think she sings A LOT live at private parties and we just never see them.

I just watched all the videos of the link I posted above and it’s like half of her singing Bette Davis Eyes 100% live and Stars Are Blind where shes singing live too! In Stars Are Blind it sounds like 25% backtrack and 75% Paris live!
Wow these videos are amazing! She can sing live if she trained hard enough and really wanted too!

Speaking of haters – could it be that it is Shanna Moakler who posts under different names all over the web?
Several people have mentioned this on various blogs and, after reading Shanna’s latest comments on her MySpace, I would tend to agree.
The hateful woman seems obsessed with Paris and only someone older and deeply disturbed could write such comments.

Just wanted to add that giving 10% of your gross income to charity is not unusual for some religions.
Most Catholics, however, give around 2% after taxes on average.
Don’t know how it works for Paris but ,clearly, she is doing Something for good causes.
