Will Paris Hilton meet the president of the Philippines?

Malacañang on Sunday clarified there is still no final word from the President’s office whether hotel heiress Paris Hilton will pay a courtesy call on President Benigno Aquino III.

Deputy presidential spokesperson Abigail Valte said they have yet to receive an advisory on Hilton’s visit in Malacañang as reported in the media.

“We took it upon ourselves to check because a lot of people are asking about the courtesy call,” said Valte.

Hilton will arrive Sunday evening at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia) on board Emirates Airways flight EK334 for a five-day visit in the country.

Hilton, a self-confessed fan of Manny Pacquiao, is also expected to meet the boxing icon and now Saranggani representative.
